An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is a highly contagious disease that can lead to severe illness and death. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and attendees with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. By attending EHIRS 2022, you voluntarily assume all risks related to COVID-19 exposure. 

 

By attending the EHIRS 2022, you are confirming that you are not experiencing any of the following COVID-19 symptoms, as identified by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention at CDC.gov: 

While we cannot require that attendees be vaccinated, we highly encourage those who attend EHIRS 2022 to get vaccinated not only for their safety but also for those around them. 

Photo and Video Release

By attending EHIRS 2022, you are entering an area where photography, audio, and video recording may occur. 

Your entry and presence on the event premises constitutes your consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded and to the release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction of any and all recorded media of your appearance, voice, and name for any purpose whatsoever in perpetuity in connection with Ohio State BMES and its initiatives, including, by way of example only, use on websites, in social media, news, and advertising.

 By entering the event premises, you waive and release any claims you may have related to the use of recorded media of you at the event, including, without limitation, any right to inspect or approve the photo, video, or audio recording of you, any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, and copyright infringement or for any fees for the use of such record media.

You understand that all photography, film, and/or recording will be done in reliance on this consent. If you do not agree to the foregoing, please do not enter the event premises.
